When should I book a post-natal check?
Anytime from 6 weeks after birth. Sooner if you have pain, bladder/bowel concerns, or if you have breastfeeding concerns.
Can I bring my baby?
Absolutely!
Do you see mums after C-section?
Yes, we’ll support your scar healing, core recovery, and return to activity.
What funding options are available for physiotherapy at Assist Allied Health?
We want physiotherapy to be accessible for everyone, so we work with a range of funding models:
- NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme): We see both plan-managed and self-managed participants.
- WorkCover Queensland: If you’ve been injured at work, we accept WorkCover referrals.
- Private Physiotherapy: You can book directly without a referral. Private health rebates may apply if you have extras cover.
- Medicare Care Plans (EPC): If your GP provides a Chronic Disease Management Plan, Medicare may cover part of your sessions.
- Community Aged Care Packages: Physio can be funded through your home care package provider.
- Veterans (DVA): We accept DVA referrals for eligible veterans.
- Bulk Billing: Available only with Vrunda Trivedi

Do you offer mobile physiotherapy services?
Yes. For some women’s health and community clients, we provide mobile physio visits in the Redlands area. This means we come to you, whether that’s at home, in aged care, or another suitable location. Availability is limited, so please contact us to discuss if mobile physio is the right option for your needs.
