No, you can book directly.
What funding options are available for physiotherapy at Assist Allied Health?
We want physiotherapy to be accessible for everyone, so we work with a range of funding models:
- NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme): We see both plan-managed and self-managed participants.
- WorkCover Queensland: If you’ve been injured at work, we accept WorkCover referrals.
- Private Physiotherapy: You can book directly without a referral. Private health rebates may apply if you have extras cover.
- Medicare Care Plans (EPC): If your GP provides a Chronic Disease Management Plan, Medicare may cover part of your sessions.
- Community Aged Care Packages: Physio can be funded through your home care package provider.
- Veterans (DVA): We accept DVA referrals for eligible veterans.
- Bulk Billing: Available only with Vrunda Trivedi
If you’re not sure which option applies to you, give us a call, our team can guide you through what’s available.
Can you help if I’ve had my injury for a long time?
Yes, we treat both new and long-standing issues.
Do you see children and teens?
Yes, especially for sports injuries.
Do you offer mobile physiotherapy services?
Yes. For some women’s health and community clients, we provide mobile physio visits in the Redlands area. This means we come to you, whether that’s at home, in aged care, or another suitable location. Availability is limited, so please contact us to discuss if mobile physio is the right option for your needs.
